To all my Mommy (or Daddy) friends out there.... we are looking for a few recommendations. Here's what we need:
1. Good books on CD for Preschool/Kindergarten ages
2. Quality chapter books for Reagan and I to read together.
3. Spanish learning CDs for kids
I've been looking at Amaz0n.com for these things, but there are too many to choose from.... I'd rather know what y'all have used and loved!
Thanks! :)

I am not sure that this is exactly what you are looking for....but we love music that puts scripture music to song. If you are looking for good music you can go to Seedsfamilyworship.net. The CD's are available to purchase online and you can preview the songs before you buy.
I'll check back for everyone else's good ideas on books! :)
Jane
Thanks Jane! I'll definitely check that out!
I've had a couple of people email me--- thought I'd share what they had to say.
One gets lots of good books on CD from the library-- old classics like 0ne Fish 2 Fish, Fox in Sox, etc.
Another recommended the H00ked on Spanish from the H00ked on Phonics people as well as "Muzzy" for Spanish learning.
Also recommended the curriculum from "Sunlight".
I will be doing some g00gling tonight! :)
I was going to suggest the library, and they have books on cd, too. I just checked out "Because of Winn-Dixie" for my foster girls, but it would be too difficult for kindergarten age. For read-aloud chapter books, I would do "Charlottes Web" and then you can watch the movie. I also like "Freckle Juice" and "Chocolate Touch" which are both about a 2nd-3rd grade reading level. The "Magic Treehouse" books are good, too and are 2.0 reading level and it's a series.
One other thing. I left a link for Veggie Tales and Seeds Music with some freebies on my post here:

There is a free kids radio on the Veggie Tales as well as great family activity ideas.
Hope that helps. :) Thanks for posting the ideas from others, I'll be trying out some of those library books with my kids too!
Jane
