The teeth...

I finally got a good picture of Ian's cute little teeth.

Doesn't he look excited about them?

More progress!

The new floor in the kitchen, living/dining room is done! Sean, Keven, Dad, Wes and Glen worked their tails off this weekend and finished it! Nice job guys!

It is so different than what we had before (light hardwood in the kitchen and icky carpet in the living/dining room) and therefore is taking some getting used to. But... I really, really like it!

The painting is almost done too... it is really coming together! Now just the carpet... scheduled to be installed February 5/6/7th. Yippee!

Moments that make your heart sing...

This was a precious moment between Reagan & Ian... she brought him his blanket (and hers too!) and snuggled up next to him with a book. It was awesome.

Progress... finally!

The repair work has started!!! Finally! We have new drywall and the first round of mud/tape up. The drywall/texture/paint should be done by the end of the week and then the new flooring and carpet will be installed the next week! Yippee! We should have all new floors just in time for Ian to start crawling forward... he currently only goes backwards.

The gadget of the year.

When I decided it was imperative that I share with you all the amazing new gadget I've discovered, I actually had an internal battle as to whether or not this would force me to admit that I secretively love infomercials. Okay.... now it's out there. I love watching infomercials! When I was pregnant with Ian, I had many nights of unexplained insomnia (could it be because he was practicing some sort of very active sport in my belly?)... and the various infomercials that circulate kept me company in the middle of the night.

And yes... we own a Magic Bullet.

Let me just say that it is a good thing I don't keep my wallet next to the bed or we would own many other random kitchen gadgets.

All this is to say that I have found the most amazing thing sold on TV. I jokingly told my mom about it before Christmas and lo-and-behold... what was under the tree??? A Vidalia Chop Wizard! It sounds so hokey, but let me tell you... it REALLY WORKS! If you like having things nicely diced like I do, then this is the gadget for you. The test for me was a tomato. Would it crush it?? Nope! It makes the most perfectly diced tomatoes you've ever seen! And... the thing you chop into is also a measuring cup. Again, amazing. Sadly, I could go on for quite a while about this... but I won't torture those of you who are still reading. Just take my word for it and get one. You don't even have to buy it on TV-- they sell them at Bed Bath & Beyond. Or... if you live close... come over and I'll demonstrate!

Caught!

So... I was cooking dinner last night when I realized it was awful quiet in the house. Ian was playing contently in the family room, but I didn't hear any activity from Reagan.
Reagan, quiet, is not usually a good thing... So I rounded the corner and found her sitting next to the pantry with her finger in the Peanut Butter jar! I think she thought she would be in big trouble, so when I laughed hysterically and grabbed the camera, she was pleasantly surprised. We did, however, have a chat about how that probably wasn't a good idea.

Some Holiday Pictures...

We've had such a fun and busy week!
Here are some pictures from our Christmas adventures....

Coming downstairs on Christmas morning... I think she didn't really get it quite yet and was wondering why on earth we were taking her picture coming down the stairs.

Singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus!
(and no... Ian did not get to eat the muffin!)

Reagan's new kitchen.... she loves it!

Is it a good sign that he hit it off the tee on the first try??

My beautiful sister and her beautiful little girl...

A new hat for Ian...
Seriously. Does it get any cuter?
(and check out the drool too!)

That must be a good book!

A precious moment...

Sean and mini-Sean... :)

I have so many more good pictures from Christmas... I'll stop here so I don't go overboard!
