Winter Wonderland Part 2
We got even more snow last night, which made for FANTASTIC sledding and snow-playing today! And.... it is currently dumping more snow tonight. It's just craziness here. I've lived here a long time and I can't remember the last time it snowed this much, for this long. We've had snow on the ground for over a week now and that's a really long time for us!
We're probably not going to need the patio umbrella for a while...
Ian was SO happy in the snow. And, he apparently thought burying his face in it was a good idea. We also don't need to be concerned about his level of hydration today, he got plenty of water via all the snow he ATE. Silly, silly boy. (... insert yellow snow joke here...)
This picture was taken about an hour ago.... the "stuff" on the left is our 15' Bamboo collection. It is all now touching the ground from the weight of the snow. It's just crazy! Crazy and SO fun!!
**Go over to my sister's blog and check out the awesome picture of my mom and dad sledding!**

Winter Wonderland
It snowed! It REALLY snowed! We're trying to soak up as much of it as possible, because, you know, it might not snow again until Spring.
We've had a blast playing in the backyard and sledding down the best sledding hill in Grandma and Papa's neighborhood. The very same hill we grew up sledding down! My mom said today that she isn't sure who is the bigger kid on the hill.... Papa (my dad) or Sean! Needless to say, we had a blast!

I have a great video of Papa and Reagan going off a "jump" on the sled, but my computer isn't cooperating. I'll post it as soon as I can. If you ask her what her favorite part of the day is, she says "When Papa and I went off the BIG jump!" (For the record, it's not a big jump.... just big for a 4 year old).
So much fun.... so many fun memories!

Smart Cat!
I accidentally left the dryer open for 10 minutes today while I put Ian down for his nap. This is what I found after I finished reading with Ian....
That's one smart cat!
We love you Smooches! :)

Ian got tagged!
Name/Meaning: "Ian Charles" Ian comes from the same Irish root word as "Sean"--which is Daddy's name. It means "God is Gracious". Charles is my maternal Grandpa's name. He was a riot-- had a ton of personality and was a big teddy bear. Ian is exactly the same. Read this to see how we chose the name (it's a long post-- the name part is half way down).
Age: 2 years 5 months
Nicknames: "E", Bubby, Bubs
Favorite Activity (ies): Running, jumping, hitting his head, playing with cars, pretending to be a dog with Reagan, coloring, running, dancing, running around the kitchen island, and more!
Favorite Food: Smoothies, Edemame, Yogurt, Frozen Peas, Bananas, Tings, Chocolate covered raisins, carrots w/ dip.
Least favorite food: He goes through phases of liking or disliking. He currently refuses to eat Oatmeal. He used to eat it like it was candy.
Favorite Music: Anything with a good beat--- the kid can dance!!
Favorite toys: Daddy. And cars, animals, puzzles, dinosaurs, books
Favorite books: Dancing Dinos, The Going to Bed Book, his big Usborne Truck book and anything that has pages, really. He loves books.
What makes him happy: Daddy. His blanket, playing with Reagan, a new car-car, looking at toy catalogs, getting a smoothie at Starbucks.
What makes him sad: Not getting his way, getting in trouble, saying bye to Daddy in the morning.

Thank you...
Thank you to all of those men and women who serve our country on a daily basis, who have served in the past and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Thank you to their families who unselfishly let their Dads, Moms, Husbands, Wives, Children, Grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Best Friends etc... leave them behind to fight for us.
Let's NEVER take that for granted, okay?
PS--- Thanks Dad, for your 20+ years of service in the Air Force. I am so thankful that God chose you to be my Dad... I love you!
