Reagan is obsessed with letter recognition right now. Everywhere we go she points out all the letters we see. It is so fun to see her excited about learning!
Today, as she was going potty, I heard her holler from the bathroom....
"Mom! I found the letter 'Y' in the bathroom!"
I went in to check it out and this is what she saw... somehow the bathroom rug had been formed into the letter Y!

What a smart girl. You realize that this is what teachers encourage kids to do when they are in kindergarten? Well, maybe not in carpets...but what a brilliant child you have!! :)

Why not leave some other messages in the rug and see how she does? Might be a great way to get some things across to her that she has been missing thus far...question is, can you do it with only one or two letters at a time? ...uh...maybe you could get her going on her texting lingo even at 3!
